Your 2024 can be simpler

If a company has employees in more than one state (which is becoming increasingly common with remote and hybrid workforces), keeping track of each state’s paid leave laws (short-term disability – STD, paid family leave – PFL, and paid sick leave – PSL) is extremely challenging. And, taking time to research each state’s laws is incredibly time-consuming. So we compiled all state laws into a single, quick cheat sheet outlining eligibility rules, benefit levels, and costs at a high level. If a company is in a state with paid leave, they should seek out additional information, but this resource is great to get a high-level idea of any paid leaves a company may need to offer. Additionally, if a company is hiring in a new state, this is a great resource to see if additional benefits will need to be offered in that new state.
